II REGIONAL PILGRIMAGE FOR INTEGRAL ECOLOGY TO BRUMADINHO

2 YEARS OF CRIME - FROM MOURNING TO FIGHT

"We're all brothers
Nobody lets go of anybody's hand
United in one heart
So be it, amen"

(Dom Vicente Ferreira - Song created for the II Regional Pilgrimage)

The catastrophic flood of ore tailings was responsible for burying at least 272 people, dozens of houses and plantations, in addition to the vast destruction of local fauna and flora and the contamination of the entire Paraopeba River basin. In response to the damage and impacts of the tragedy-crime, the Regional Pilgrimage for Integral Ecology to Brumadinho is held annually.
â €
This year, due to the pandemic, the II Regional Pilgrimage will be held in a primarily virtual format, with a program that will range from video letters to celebratory itineraries and pastoral soirees. In addition, on January 25, the day of the tragedy-crime, a celebration will be held at Córrego do Feijão, broadcast in real time on the RENSER page.
â €
The idea is to build a large network of pilgrims and pilgrims across the country with red cloths on our windows, showing that we are all brothers and sisters fighting for Brumadinho!
